Mindful Dining accomplishes this by providing a pleasant dining ambiance, healthy menu items, and most importantly, delicious tasting food. In addition to meeting nutritional needs, our dining venue also offers opportunities for socialization.
Connecting with others and building community is life-affirming and has been shown to improve both physical and mental health. Mealtimes are built-in moments of the day that give seniors the chance to share an experience with others, which can have a profound impact on their overall wellbeing. At Hines Hill, Mindful Dining is an essential part of their commitment to providing a high quality of life for our residents.

Our residents are engaged in the dining experience and greatly assist in shaping the atmosphere. We want to prepare your favorite recipes as we share stories around the family-style dining table.
Mindful Menu
Our menu emphasises 10 brain-healthy food groups: green leafy vegetables, all other vegetables, nuts, berries, beans, whole grains, fish, poultry, olive oil and wine. Meanwhile avoiding foods from the five unhealthy groups: red meats, butter and stick margarine, cheeses, pastries and sweets, and fried or fast food.
Delicious Food
We take great pride in providing delicious foods to those we serve. Aria will engage each of your five basic tastes while surrounding you with the familiar aromas of homemade cooking. We invite you to come in and share a meal with us. I recommend our very tasty homemade pasta and red sauce!
